Professional Learning as an instrument of public policy in the socio-educational system. This is the theme of the research project that will be initiated, based on a Cooperation Agreement between the Public Ministry of Labor in Sergipe (MPT-SE) and the Tiradentes University (Unit). The signing took place last Thursday (02/01), at the MPT-SE headquarters, in Aracaju.
The action project also deals with the prevention and eradication of child labor, social inclusion and training for entry into the labor market of adolescents and young people in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability or social risk, in compliance with socio-educational measures, especially hospitalization measures. carried out by the Renascer Foundation.
The signature is the result of a Public Civil Action (ACP) filed by the MPT-SE. According to the Chief Prosecutor of MPT-SE, Márcio Amazonas, during the negotiation, it was proposed that the ACP be converted into the signing of the term. “A company, initially a defendant in a legal action, became a partner of MPT-SE, which demonstrates a high level of legal awareness. That’s why signing this agreement is so gratifying”, he highlighted.
During the implementation of the project, which should last two years, MPT-SE is responsible for technical monitoring and mobilization of partner institutions, while the Unit must select a doctorate in Human Rights to act in coordination, as well as master’s and undergraduate students to assist in the execution. .
According to Labor Attorney Raymundo Ribeiro, regional head of the National Coordination to Combat the Exploitation of Labor of Children and Adolescents (Coordinfância), the objective is to verify the results achieved. “We will follow the path taken by teenage apprentices in their experiences in companies and public bodies, with the aim of identifying improvements, new courses and even how post-learning can develop”, he explained.
Grupo Tiradentes’ lawyer, Ailton Borges, highlighted the importance of the opportunity given by MPT-SE to the institution. “The initiative of the Public Ministry of Labor to promote reflection on the importance of inserting young people into the world of work was fundamental. He managed to demonstrate that the University would no longer be in a state of defense and would begin to occupy a leading and collaborative role with society”, he emphasized.
For delegate Ronaldo Marinho, who is a professor at the institution, signing the agreement is proof that the Unit is fulfilling its social function. “This term is a consequence of the union of two institutions respected in society, in favor of a common good. We are sure that the objective will be achieved”, he guaranteed.
The vice-coordinator of the UFS Postgraduate Law Program and UNICEF consultant, Karyna Sposato, was invited to participate in the project. “The expansion of public policies for adolescents as apprentices is fundamental. I will act in supervision, in collaboration with UNICEF’s postgraduate program in Human Rights,” she commented.
The agreement was signed by the Chief Prosecutor of the MPT-SE, Márcio Amazonas, by the Deputy Chief Prosecutor, Clarisse Farias Malta, by the director of Institutional Relations of the Unit, Marcos Wandir Nery Lobão and by the lawyer of the Tiradentes Group, Ailton Borges de Souza .
