The Federal Highway Police carried out, on the morning of this Wednesday (31/01), an integrated action with the National Land Transport Agency – ANTT and the Department of Highways – DER at the Natal/RN Bus Terminal.
The operation had the support of inspectors from ANTT and DER and was developed with the aim of inspecting public transport buses, in addition to guiding drivers and passengers on the necessary precautions for greater safety during the trip and consequent prevention of accidents.
Drivers and passengers were consulted in the PRF systems, in anti-crime inspection, and received recommendations on how to act and request PRF support in cases of abuse and crimes committed during the trip.
The inspections took place when the buses arrived at the bus terminal, so that the vehicles could be inspected before starting their journey and so that passengers could receive all the necessary guidance.
As a result of the inspection, two buses were replaced due to irregularities in safety conditions and one of them was removed from circulation for not having a regular inspection.
