During a meeting with governor Raquel Lyra, company representatives revealed a contribution of R$100 million, intended to improve the production capacity of the unit located in the Suape Port Industrial Complex.
The investment covers several areas crucial to the company’s operation, including logistics, technology, infrastructure and market assets. This move not only strengthens Ball Corporation’s position as a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging, but also highlights Pernambuco’s strategic importance in expanding the industry.
This announcement is part of a series of recent investments in Pernambuco, totaling more than R$800 million announced in the first month of 2024. The attraction of these investments was made possible by tax incentives offered by the Pernambuco Development Program (Prodepe), which granted a reduction 85% in taxes.
