Coritiba announced this Thursday (1st) the signing of striker Brandão, 19 years old. Trained in Londrina’s youth categories, the player is 1.91 m tall and plays as a center forward. He scored 21 goals in 23 games in the 2023 Paranaense Under-20 Championship, finishing as the competition’s top scorer and runner-up with the Interior team.
“The promotion and training of young athletes is one of the main pillars of the new Coritiba project. In this way, striker Brandão, acquired permanently, arrives at Alto da Glória to form the under-20 team and integrate – during the 2024 Paranaense Championship – the main team”, informed Coritiba.
The club did not disclose the negotiation values.
“It is very gratifying to see that my work has been recognized by a giant of Brazilian football. I am very proud and I will work hard to create new opportunities”, said Brandão, to the official Coritiba website.
