The government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) resumes, this Thursday (1st.Feb.2024), the hiring of the MCMV program (My home, my life) for families in Track 1. The information is from the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.

Signed by the Minister of Cities, Jader Filho, the 1st project will build 115 houses next to Jaguariúna City Hall, in São Paulo. The target for 2024 is to contract 187.5 thousand new housing units with resources from the FAR (Residential Leasing Fund), destined for Range 1, in accordance with the Ministry of Cities.

In Track 1, beneficiaries of Bolsa Família It’s from BPC (Continuous Payment Benefit) they win the property. These are families that receive up to 2 minimum wages. The rest pay a payment equivalent to 10% of their income for 5 years.

On Tuesday (January 30, 2024), in an interview with CBN RecifeLula said he was resuming 1,600 Minha Casa, Minha Vida works that were stopped in Recife.

The PAC has already been structured, the projects are almost all done. I ask God to give us strength so that we can, once again, see this country generate 4 million jobs”, he stated. The New PAC is an investment program coordinated by the federal government.

For the first 4 months of 2024, the government is expected to deliver approximately 7,350 homes. Next Tuesday (Feb 6, 2024), Lula will go to Magé, a municipality in Rio de Janeiro, to deliver 832 houses.
