To g1, the elderly woman’s grandson states that the authorities responsible for the case do not provide answers for the family. A police report was registered on the day of her disappearance and the Civil Police are investigating the case.
“It’s been five months and no response has been given to us so far. We want some response from the competent authorities, because besides God, they here on earth are the ones who have the authority to give us any response,” he said.
When contacted, the Civil Police reported that investigations were carried out at the elderly woman’s home and at the place she used to visit. He also said that the absence of cameras in the area makes investigations difficult, but “all efforts are being made to solve the case.”
“The Civil Police invites the public to provide information that could help with investigations by calling 190,” he added.
The grandson said that the Fire Department began investigations when the elderly woman disappeared, but passed the case on to the Civil Police, who were not satisfied with the investigations. The last contact with the Civil Police was made 3 months by the family, according to him.
“The Fire Department helped us with the search as soon as she disappeared, after which they ended the search and said that the Civil Police would take over the case. […] The Civil Police tell us that they are investigating, but they have never said how the investigation is going, and it has been some time since they have appeared to speak to our families.”
“Whenever we remember somewhere she might have gone, we go to find out the location. We always go in search of any information that will lead us to her whereabouts”, said the grandson.
