Operation Total Force removes 27 firearms from circulation in Bahia

On Wednesday night (31), the Military Police of Bahia successfully concluded the 20th edition of Operation Total Force, carried out in 417 municipalities. Throughout the action, efforts were mobilized to curb crimes, especially with raids and raids that resulted in the seizure of weapons and drugs, a significant gain in combating crime. Drug seizures totaled 27 incidents on this day, a step forward in the fight against trafficking and criminal organizations. In total across all editions, 436 firearms were removed from the streets and 713 arrests were made in the act, reinforcing PMBA’s commitment to disarming criminals and promoting community safety. The set of actions also recovered 348 vehicles, helping to maintain society’s trust in police actions. The results reflect the efficiency of the strategies adopted, where technology, intelligence and tactical action contributed to the success of the 20th edition of Total Force. “We renew our commitment to public safety, thanking the community for their support. The Military Police of Bahia remains dedicated to the mission of serving and protecting, providing a safe and peaceful environment for all citizens”, highlights Colonel Paulo Coutinho, general commander from PMBA.
