The Municipal Health Department (SMS) Natal held a workshop with the intention of training employees who will work with administrative processes of acquisition and contracting within the municipality’s public administration. The last group met this Wednesday (31).

Based on the practice of Law: No. 14,133/2021, the workshop had three classes, the first two being held between the 22nd and 25th, and the last class on the 30th and 31st of January, accounting for a total of 130 trained professionals.

“The workshops were proposed with the intention of standardizing the instruments for the internal phase of the administrative processes of acquisition and contracts at the municipal level. With this standardization, the secretariats will have a guide on how the planning phase will take place as recommended in law 14,133/2021, improving the development of these instruments, in addition to qualifying our municipality’s acquisition processes”, comments Michele Souza, auctioneer at the City of Rio de Janeiro. Natal is responsible for training, reinforcing that the workshops will continue to other departments in the municipality, aiming to train and standardize 100% of employees who work in municipal acquisitions.

The workshops took place in the computer laboratory of the collective health department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), and included the participation of employees from various departments in the municipality, such as the Municipal Health Department (SMS), Municipal Department of Education (SME), Municipal Reference Center for Education (Cemure), State Secretariat for Women, Youth, Racial Equality and Human Rights (SEMJIDH), Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (SEL) and General Comptroller of the Municipality (CGM) .
