The weather this Thursday (1st) continues with a predominance of sun, varying clouds and heat during the morning and part of the afternoon in most regions of Santa Catarina.
However, according to Civil Defense, between the afternoon and evening there are conditions for rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in the more mountainous areas between the Midwest and the Coast.

Heat in several regions of Santa Catarina throughout this Thursday
According to meteorologist Piter Scheuer, this Thursday the weather will be firm and with a low chance of rain throughout the day. Furthermore, the meteorologist points out that temperatures on this day will be high, reaching 34°C in some parts of the West.
According to Civil Defense, minimum temperatures vary between 11°C and 16°C in the Southern Plateau and between 16°C and 22°C in other areas. In the afternoon, temperatures approach 34/35°C in the West and vary from 27°C to 31°C in the rest of the State, with lower values in the highest areas of Planalto Sul, Greater Florianópolis and the Midwest.

High pressure area continues to influence the weather in Santa Catarina and promote heat
On Friday (2), the high pressure area present over the Atlantic Ocean continues to influence the weather in Santa Catarina. In the early hours of the morning, there are conditions for fog to form between the Midwest and the Coast, which dissipate in the early hours of the morning, giving way to a predominance of sunshine.
Despite this, between the afternoon and evening, the combination of heat and humidity continues to favor the formation of rain showers and very isolated thunderstorms across the State, especially between the Itajaí Valley and the North Coast.
Temperatures close to 34°C in the west of Santa Catarina
At dawn, temperatures between 10°C and 16°C in Planalto Sul, Greater Florianópolis Serrana, Midwest and Planalto Norte and between 17°C and 23°C in the rest of the State.
During the afternoon, maximum temperatures range between 25 and 28°C on the coast, Planalto Sul, Vale do Itajaí and Planalto Norte, 24°C to 31°C in the Midwest and approach 34°C in the West with lower values in mountainous areas.
Weekend with the possibility of very isolated storms in parts of Santa Catarina.
On Saturday (3) conditions are similar to previous days in the State. During the early hours of the morning, there are favorable conditions for the formation of fog between the Midwest and the Coast, which dissipate in the early hours of the morning, giving way to a predominance of sunshine.
From the afternoon onwards, the combination of heat and humidity continues to favor the occurrence of very isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, especially between the Greater West and North Plateau.
At dawn, temperatures close to 9/10°C in the highest points of the South Plateau, between 11°C and 15°C in the rest of this region, the Midwest, North Plateau and Greater Florianópolis mountains.
In other areas, temperatures between 16°C and 20°C. During the afternoon, temperatures close to 32/34°C in parts of the Far West and between 27°C and 31°C in other areas, with lower values in higher areas.
Sunday and Monday with predominance of sunshine in the State
Between Sunday (4) and Monday (5) the sun continues to predominate between the morning and part of the afternoon. During the afternoon and evening, the typical summer condition remains with the formation of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms that should be a little more widespread across the State compared to previous days.
