A heavy rain recorded in Belo Horizonte caused the flooding of avenues this Wednesday (January 31). Images circulating on social media show the paths taken by the waters. According to the Fire Department and Civil Defense, no incident was recorded.

“Look at the flooding at the intersection of Avenida Sinfrônio Brochado and Olinto Meireles, in the Barreiro region”, recorded Mister Bus on his social media profile.

In addition to the flooding, on Avenida Amazonas, on the corner of Rua dos Guajajaras, bags of garbage were seen floating, just before Praça Raul Soares, in the Center-South region. “This is what causes the floods,” said the internet user.
