Bahian rural producers can now request via platform, without leaving home, services such as registration, registration change, reactivation or deletion from the ICMS Taxpayer Register (CAD-ICMS), provided by the Bahia State Finance Department (Sefaz-BA). With this new feature, rural producers no longer need to send requests by email, resolving issues related to taxpayer registration with more convenience, practicality and security.
In addition to making requests from the comfort of home, producers now have more flexibility, as they can access information about their process at any time, seven days a week. Communication with Sefaz-BA also gains in efficiency, as notifications and relevant information will be shared more quickly and effectively. Another advantage of process automation is the reduction of operational costs.
“By implementing this service for rural producers, our expectation is to contribute to a more efficient, transparent and accessible management, promoting a more favorable environment for this category responsible for agricultural production in our state”, stated the Director of Service at Sefaz-BA , Moisés de Souza Piropo Junior.
The new service was made available on the platform ba.gov.br through the Digital Transformation Coordination, which is part of the Management and Innovation Superintendency (SGI) of the State Administration Secretariat (Saeb).
How to access
To use the service, simply access the site and authenticate through your CPF or email, entering the password registered on the portal. Authentication can also be performed with the account gov.br. Then, just search for the service “Request registration, registration change, reactivation or write-off – Rural Producer” and press the “request” button. You then need to fill out a form, attach the necessary documentation and confirm the service request.
The citizen will be notified at each stage of processing the request through WhatsApp and will also be able to follow their request via portal or application.
