A report with allegations and complaints from consumers about financial services was delivered, this Wednesday (31), to the executive management of the INSS (National Social Security Institute) of Campo Grande. The measure aims to correct distortions and protect citizen rights.
Prepared based on service and inspection data from Procon/MS (Executive Secretariat for Guidance and Consumer Protection), an institution linked to Sead (Secretariat of State for Social Assistance and Human Rights), the document lists cases of disrespect for legislation between the financial institutions responsible for paying INSS benefits, in addition to offering payroll loans.
“We identified a growing trend in the number of reports and complaints related to banks that have contracts signed with the INSS. These are cases of disrespect for preferential and priority service groups in agencies, tying of products and the requirement that the insured person open a current account to receive the benefit”, explains the executive secretary of Procon/MS Angelo Motti.
The data was delivered for action in a meeting with the executive manager of INSS in Campo Grande, Raimundo Martin Pereira Ruiz, and the head of the management maintenance section, João Paulo do Nascimento.
