The Board of Directors of Fundersul (Mato Grosso do Sul Road System Development Fund) approved this Wednesday (31) the rendering of accounts for the 2023 financial year, the year in which R$1.8 billion was invested in the entire State.

The biggest slice of the pie, R$ 1.4 billion, was under the administration of Agesul (State Enterprise Management Agency), which invested 61% of the resources in paving and implementing highways; 31% in highway restoration, conservation and maintenance; and 8% in bridges (construction, renovations and maintenance), urban works, environmental licensing and equipment maintenance.

The 79 municipalities received transfers totaling R$413.3 million and agreements from Agehab (Popular Housing Agency) had R$855.1 thousand.

The accountability and report on works and services performed for 2023 were approved during the first meeting of 2024 of the Fundersul Board of Directors, held at Seilog (State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Logistics).

The Council is made up of members of the State Government – ​​Seilog, Segov (State Secretariat for Government and Strategic Management) and Semadesc (State Secretariat for Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Information) – and institutions from the productive sector – Famasul System (Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso do Sul), Sicadems (Union of Cold, Meat and Derivatives Industries of the State) and Acrissul (Association of Breeders of Mato Grosso do Sul) -, in addition to Assomasul (Association of Municipalities of Mato Grosso do Sul) Grosso do Sul), which represents the mayors.

For the State Government, secretaries Helio Peluffo (Seilg), Frederico Felini (deputy of Segov) and Walter Carneiro Junior (deputy of Semadesc) participated in the meeting, as well as the CEO of Agesul, Mauro Azambuja. General director Rogério Rosalin participated for Assomasul.

Representing the production sector, the president of Famasul, Marcelo Bertoni; the president of Sicadems, Régis Comarella; and the president of Acrissul, Guilherme Bumlai.
