UFPB employees meet in assembly and approve strike indication for March


The Union of Workers in Higher Education of the State of Paraíba (Sintes-PB), held on Tuesday morning (30), in the entity’s auditorium, a general meeting with members where they decided on the strike indication for the 11th of March. During the event, adherence to the Fasubra mobilization calendar and other matters involving the 2024 salary campaign for technical-administrative employees of federal education were approved.

As reported by ClickPB, the strike indicator approved during the meeting for March 11th is a tool, if negotiations do not progress involving career restructuring and a positive response to the counter-proposal sent by the Forum of National Entities of Public Servants – FONASEFE, which provides for staggered linear adjustment.

During the meeting, deliberations were also discussed about the Geap agreement model, classified by the category as a punishment for beneficiaries over 59 years of age. A new assembly will be held in February to discuss a resolution on this topic.
