The first Primary Health Care Seminar and the first Planning Exhibition of the South Mato Grosso Health Region take place in partnership with the municipality of Rondonópolis and the Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein; events mark the end of Phase 2 of the PlanificaSUS MT Project in the region.
The Health Care Planning project (PlanificaSUS) aims to strengthen the macroprocesses of Primary Health Care (PHC) and Specialized Outpatient Care (AAE) by implementing supported self-care, continued and palliative care, patient safety and health surveillance.
The superintendent of Health Care at SES, Diógenes Marcondes, explains that the seminar and exhibition aim to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and give visibility to the experiences and good practices of the PHC and AAE health teams that the project provided in the region.
“We will carry out reflections and debates on mental health care in primary health care; risk stratification of hypertension and diabetes; risk stratification of the elderly; patient safety in PHC, among others. To this end, we will have speakers and mini-course facilitators from Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein, SES and the municipalities of Rondonópolis and Primavera do Leste”, adds the manager.
According to the coordinator of Primary Care at SES, Regina Paula Amorim, during the events, plaques recognizing the work of the teams that make up the Health Units in Planning will be delivered to municipal health managers in the region, and the best experiences presented during the event will also be awarded. the health exhibition, in banner and oral presentation formats.
“This is a time to celebrate achievements, learn from innovations and further strengthen the commitment to excellence in health care for the population of Mato Grosso”, says Regina.
PlanificaSUS-MT
The strategic choice of the South Mato Grosso Health Region to begin implementing the project was announced by the Bipartite Intermanagers Commission (CIB) through CIB Resolution No. 016 of April 4, 2019. In July 2019, Phase 1 of the project PlanificaSUS-MT was launched and went through preparatory stages and four operational stages, such as cycles of in-person and virtual workshops, ending in December 2020.
In October 2021, after the adhesion of SES and the municipalities of the Southern Health Region of Mato Grosso to Phase 2 of PlanificaSUS MT, the Project was resumed with the support of Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein, including the recovery of the stages suppressed due to to the Covid-19 pandemic in Phase 1. In this stage, the same work strategies were used as in the first, such as cycles of in-person and virtual workshops. The topics covered were integration and communication between APS and AAE; monitoring and evaluation; supported self-care; palliative care; patient safety in PHC; and macro processes of health surveillance.
“As Phase 2 of the project comes to an end in the Southern Mato Grosso Health Region, we reiterate its utmost importance, as it provided specific moments of dialogue in the social construction of PHC, in the organization of its macroprocesses and microprocesses and in the integration with Specialized Outpatient Care in the region, especially in maternal and child care, resulting in better satisfaction among SUS users and the quality of care offered”, explains Regina.
