A woman, identified as Domingas de Jesus Amorim Faria, aged 56, was killed by her husband, Laurenci Antônio Farias, aged 57, on a farm in the rural area of Alcinópolis (MS), on Sunday afternoon (19). After killing his wife, he called his son and said he had done something “silly”. The couple had been together for more than 30 years.
To g1, the delegate responsible for the case, Andressa Vieira, reported that the victim was killed by a gunshot. The couple’s son said he received a call from his father, around 7pm, in which he claimed to have killed his wife. Upon arriving at the residence, the boy found his mother dead and a firearm on a table.
“The couple was at home, shortly after the crime the perpetrator called his son saying he had done something stupid and the gun was on the table. At first it was a gunshot to the head. Everything indicates that she intended to separate from him.”
In the house where the crime occurred, police found an arsenal belonging to the suspect. According to the police, 4 long weapons, 2 revolvers, 2 boxes of lead and 18 ammunition were seized.
Laurenci remains at large and the case is investigated by the Coxim Women’s Assistance Police Station (DAM).
