Fire hits gym in Recife
A fire hit a gym and an electricity pole in the Várzea neighborhood, in the West Zone of Recife. According to the Fire Department, the fire started around 12:10 p.m., the time at which the corporation was called to fight the flames. (see video above).
Images sent to WhatsApp from TV Globo They show the smoke coming out of the building and also wires and equipment catching fire on the pole, where there was also an electrical power transformer.
The fire happened at the Green Fitness gym, located on Avenida Afonso Olindense. The Fire Department reported that it sent three firefighting vehicles to the scene and that there were no victims.
The fire was brought under control around an hour after the fire started. g1 tried, but was unable to contact the academy.
