
Bombinhas, the smallest city in Santa Catarina and located on the North Coast of Santa Catarina, once again charged the Environmental Preservation Tax (TAP) this Wednesday (15). Prices for visitors are between R$4 and R$175.50 and vary according to the type of vehicle entering the municipality. Residents do not pay.
With 34.5 square kilometers, Bombinhas has 67% green area and three conservation units. O municipality has 39 beachesthree of them with the Blue Flag seal, an international certification that evaluates water quality, management and environmental education.
The fee is only charged during the season and will continue until April 15th. According to the administration, the city does not has sufficient means to alone carry out the task of minimizing impacts on the environment caused by visitors.
Located 70km from Florianópolis and 34.8 kilometers from Balneário Camboriú, the city’s main economic activities are tourism, artisanal fishing and mariculture, which is the farming of shellfish and oysters.
Payment can be made in advance via the city hall website or via app, as well as self-service terminals in the city. See the table with the values below:
