The city council of Palmas, South of Paraná, declared an emergency situation, due to the damage suffered by the rains, mainly in agriculture. The document is published in the Official Gazette this Tuesday (14).

The situation must also be recognized by the State government, which can allocate resources for services, mainly on rural roads, which are seriously damaged.

According to the president of the City Council, Marcos Gomes, who has temporarily held the role of mayor for the last ten days, the estimated losses exceed R$95 million, mainly in agriculture.
