
Ten people involved in drug trafficking, theft and illegal possession of weapons were arrested by the Civil Police, in another phase of Operation Parabellum, launched this Monday (13) and Tuesday (14), in Cáceres, 205 km away. from Cuiabá.
The work aims to curb the activities of criminal factions in the city and region. The actions resulted in the recovery of a stolen motorcycle, in addition to the seizure of several quantities of narcotics, paraphernalia related to drug trafficking, firearms and a large amount of cash.
Among the actions carried out on Monday (13), the teams recovered a motorcycle stolen from a known drug sales point in the city. One person was arrested for theft.
In actions carried out in the afternoon, two teenagers were seized with drugs, weapons and ammunition. They were taken to the Cáceres Police Station and will be charged with the infraction of illegal possession of a firearm.
The measures carried out on Tuesday (15) aimed to comply with six court orders, three of which were arrest and search and seizure warrants. The work resulted in three drug trafficking incidents, with the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, in addition to seven people being taken away.
