VIDEO shows argument and threat before husband kills his wife inside store in Murici

A video recorded by a store employee owned by Carla Janiere da Silva Barros, 24, shows an argument between her and her husband before she was shot to death by him. In the images, Jeferson Marcos Timoteo argues and threatens his wife, in addition to punching the counter several times and damaging the furniture (see the video above). The crime occurred on Tuesday (14).

The video was recorded by the victim’s employee, identified as Débora, who asks her to continue recording her husband’s attacks and threats.

“I’m going to record you hitting her, grabbing her neck. You wanted to hit me and you came on top of me to hit me. That’s unnecessary,” says the employee in the video.

Then the man retorts and says: “It’s unnecessary for you to suck up to her and think she’s the boss and I’m an employee.” At one point, Jeferson hits the counter of the establishment and breaks part of it, despite his wife’s pleas for him to stop.

The discussion continues and Carla asks, once again, that Débora continues filming, so that she can take the images to a lawyer. That’s when Jeferson makes a clear threat and says: “You won’t need a lawyer, you can be sure.”

The video ends. The moment of the murder was not recorded. On Instagram, the store employee said that she recorded the video as a way of intimidating and that she didn’t want to leave Carla alone for fear that he would kill her.

She says she asked the victim to leave several times, but she didn’t go. She said I’m the boss and friend if he had a gun and she didn’t respond. That’s when moments later, the man arrives, tells her to leave and fires the shots. He murdered his wife with five shots, lay down next to her body and pretended to be dead to avoid being arrested.

The case will be investigated by Murici delegate Mario Jorge Marinho, who should begin hearing witnesses.

The clothing and accessories store where the victim was killed opened less than three months ago. Janny and her husband also had a store in Porto Calvo.
