BAHIA HAS 10 UNIVERSITIES AMONG THE 200 BEST IN THE COUNTRY. UFBA IS 2ND IN THE NORTHEAST. SEE THE RANKING.

UFBA – Federal University of Bahia ranked 16th among the 200 best universities in the country, according to the Folha University Ranking – RUF 2023. The Federal University of Pernambuco was considered the best in the Northeast and the 10th best in the country, with a score of 90.12, while UFBA, the 2nd in the Northeast, obtained a score of 86.70.

The São Paulo state universities USP and Unicamp were considered the best in the country, followed by the Federal Universities of Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

Bahia had 11 universities listed in the ranking. The second best university in the state is UESC – State University of Santa Cruz, followed by UEFS – State University of Feira de Santana. The data was systematized by the Bahia Econômica portal.

Only two private universities in Bahia appear in the ranking: Unifacs and Ucsal.
