On December 5th and 6th, TCE-PR will teach a course on municipal tax revenue

The School of Public Management (EGP) of the Court of Auditors of the State of Paraná (TCE-PR) will hold, on the 5th and 6th of December (Tuesday and Wednesday), in Curitiba, the course on Municipal Tax Revenue and Active Debt Structuring. The training will take place in the TCE-PR auditorium, in the Centro Cvico neighborhood. Registration, free of charge, can be made through the EGP portal.
The training will be taught by the attorney for the State of Paraná Helton Kramer Lustoza; by Flvio Berti, attorney at the Public Ministry of Accounts (MPC-PR); and by external control auditor Wilmar Martins da Costa Jnior, coordinator of Monitoring Management Acts at TCE-PR.
The target audience of the course is TCE-PR jurisdiction. On this occasion, the following topics will be addressed: the importance of own revenue, the logistical, personnel and technological structure of the tax sector and the constitutional mandates for optimization; diagnosis of municipal tax activity; how to structure a municipal tax office, competition for inspector, qualifications and routines.
Other topics presented during the training will be IPTU: calculation basis, progressiveness and systematic calculation; ITBI: calculation basis, calculation system and tax planning; ISS: calculation basis, rates, calculation system and tax planning; case studies; fiscal refinancing programs and best practices; active debt: structuring, management and monitoring; administrative and judicial collection: protest and good practices.
Closing
The training in Curitiba marks the end of this cycle held in 2023. Throughout the year, EGP promoted courses on the topic in the cities of Maring, Toledo, Londrina, Foz do Iguau, Umuarama and Francisco Beltro.
