This Thursday morning (15), Sistema Difusora held the Difusora Race 60 years, which celebrated the six decades of history of the first TV station in Maranhão. The competition provided unforgettable moments, full of emotion and health with hundreds of professional and amateur athletes.
This was the third consecutive year that Sistema Difusora held the street race, and the first time that the organization was in charge of the sporting events company EU CORRO. The gathering, start and finish took place in front of Golden Shopping Calhau, with a route along Avenida Litorânea, being contested in two categories: 5km and 10km.
At the concentration location, a structure was set up, which provided safety and comfort to the participants, with hydration tents, ambulance, pre-workout tasting and other services. At the end of the course, all participants received medals and the first three placed also received trophies.

General Men and Women: 10Km
In the men’s 10km category, 1st place went to Wedem Carlos Pereira Martins. 2nd place on the podium went to Antônio Renato Cruz Nonato. Third place went to Cláudio Luís Sá e Silva.
In the female category, Silma Braga Henriques da Silva won 1st place. 2nd was won by Rauanai de Paula Coelho Ribeiro and 3rd place by Aline Carter Silva Borges.
