Bahia’s summer is already starting and Psirico has announced the dates for its traditional rehearsals! Once again, the group chose the charming neighborhood of Santo Antônio Além do Carmo to present their events and promises to hold a real preview of Carnival on December 7th and January 11th.
“Being in the Brazilian summer and not going to the Psirico Rehearsal is not enjoying the summer in its entirety! Our rehearsal is a meeting point in the summer, unmissable, it is an invitation that extends to the whole family. It’s a very good adventure, it’s a place always linked to the culture of Salvador, to the practices of our people. Those who come from abroad are enchanted upon arrival, because they receive all the energy, all the axé”, says Márcio Victor, who has collected several stories over the years.
“There is a European couple who met at our Rehearsal! They got married and when we went to do a show in Amsterdam, we met them. It’s very rewarding!”, adds the artist. In its repertoire, the Bahian group promises to perform the biggest hits of its history such as “Mulher Brasileira”, “Firme e Forte”, “Lepo Lepo”, “Popa da Bunda”, including the current work song “Desce Toma Toma” and the new choreographies that promise to be a hit during Carnival. As usual, Márcio Victor will bring special guests to make the moment even more special. The event always starts at 7pm, in the Events Area of the Santo Antônio Além do Carmo Church and tickets are on sale at Sympla.
