Four-year-old child is run over by a school bus and dies in Bahia | Bahia

A four-year-old boy died this Tuesday (14) after being run over by a school bus in front of the house where he lived, in the village of Brejão, in the municipality of Jaborandi, in the western region of Bahia.

According to the region’s Civil Police, Arthur Kolling Fonseca was run over by the bus that took him home from school. The driver of the vehicle would not have seen the boy after he got off the bus.

Arthur Kolling was taken to a city hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.

The Santa Maria da Vitória police station, which is around 50 km from the scene of the accident, will investigate the circumstances of the accident. The bus driver and witnesses will be questioned.

Jaborandi city hall issued a note of condolence over the case and lamented the child’s death.
