Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior announced this Tuesday (14) the advance payment of the 13th salary of state public servants, which will take place on December 8, representing an additional contribution of R$2.2 billion to the payroll. This initiative, for the fifth consecutive year, will benefit more than 154 thousand active employees and around 135 thousand retired employees and pensioners.
“The anticipation of payments aims to benefit employees who will be able to plan more safely for the end of the year, but it also boosts local economic dynamism, representing an important positive impact on the State’s financial scenario”, reinforced Ratinho Junior.
Furthermore, Ratinho Junior announced the advance payment of the December payroll, a measure also implemented during the governor’s administration. This way, employees will be able to count on their salaries being deposited on December 22nd, on the eve of Christmas. Salary is usually paid on the last working day of the month.
With the combination of the 13th, the November payroll – which will be paid on November 30th – and the December payroll advance, state employees will have three salaries deposited in less than a month. This measure will inject around R$4.5 billion into the State’s economy.
