Four young people, from Santa Catarina and São Paulo, were rescued on Monday (13), by the Federal Police on suspicion of being victims of sexual exploitation on a cruise ship, in the municipality of Angra dos Reis (RJ).

The young women, according to the PF, are between 18 and 21 years old. They told the police that they were hired by an agency to work as models on the ship.
After arriving on the vessel, they realized that the local employees were providing drinks suspected of containing unusual substances.
Prevented from traveling on the ship
And they would be prevented from communicating externally and could only move around the ship under surveillance. One of them managed to gain access to a telephone and made contact with the family, who called the Federal Police.
The four young women were taken to the Federal Police Station in Angra dos Reis, from where they were sent to the IML for examinations. The investigation continues to determine the possible participation of other people.
The organizer of the event on the vessel was arrested red-handed, and could face charges of kidnapping or false imprisonment, sexual harassment, sexual harassment and human trafficking.
The PF did not provide the name of the organizer or the ship on which the young women were rescued.
