Galinha Pintadinha starts Christmas season in Rio de Janeiro

In the spirit of the end of the year, the most beloved character among children is preparing for a season in Rio de Janeiro full of performances. “A Galinha Pintadinha in Search of Christmas” is the newest adventure of the moment.

The Christmas plot involves the entire Popó gang. Upon receiving a visit from Bom Velhinho’s helper elf, Galinha Pintadinha’s family realized that the star on their Christmas tree had disappeared. With the help of Duende Maria Clotilde, the character sets out around the neighborhood in search of the brightest and most beautiful star to cheer up and illuminate the night that marks the wait for Santa Claus. They pass through the swamp and find the cane toad; they go to Dona Baratinha’s house; they pay a visit to Dona Xica; and even Borboletinha tries to help with the endeavor.

And so begins the adventure, which has the best of Christmas magic. With lots of music, friendship and lots of fun, Galinha Pintadinha gets the most beautiful Christmas star to light up its decoration and wait for Santa Claus to arrive.

The first sessions take place at the EcoVilla Ri Happy theater, located at Rua Jardim Botânico, 1.008 – Jardim Botânico, on the 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th and 26th of November, and the 2nd and 3rd of December, at 4pm.
