This Wednesday, 15th, the Day of the Proclamation of the Republic is celebrated, a date established as a national holiday. Because of this, commercial establishments and public services will have changed opening hours. Check out what opens and closes below.
Gardens and RioMar
Food courts, restaurants and leisure operations open from 12pm to 9pm;
Anchor stores and megastores open from 1pm to 9pm;
Other stores and kiosks from 2pm to 8pm;
Cinemas operate according to the hours established by the chain.
Aracaju Parque Shopping
Food court open from 12pm to 10pm;
stores and kiosks from 2pm to 8pm;
anchor stores open from 1pm to 9pm;
Ceac and lottery outlets will be closed.
Food sector from 12pm to 10pm;
anchor stores from 1pm to 9pm,
satellite stores from 2pm to 8pm.
supermarket from 10am to 8pm
Food from 12pm to 10pm;
shops, entertainment and kiosks from 2pm to 8pm;
Cinema from 1:30 pm to 9 pm.
Free Markets and Fairs
The central markets Maria Virgínia Leite Franco, Thales Ferraz and Antônio Franco (Centro) and the sectoral markets (neighborhoods) will operate at reduced hours, from 6am to 1pm.
The street markets that take place in the Augusto Franco, Orlando Dantas, Dom Pedro and Siqueira Campos neighborhoods will be held normally.
According to the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban), banks across Brazil will not have in-person service during the holiday. Services return normally this Thursday.
Parque Governador Augusto Franco (Sementeira), in the Jardins neighborhood, will open from 5 am to 9:30 pm. The Poxim Ecological Park, in Inácio Barbosa, will operate normally, from 6am to 6pm.
The Chica Chaves Crafts Center, in the Industrial District, will be closed to the public.
Boarding and disembarking services at Orla Pôr do Sol (Mosqueiro) will take place without any changes, from 8am to 5pm.
The emergency rooms at the Fernando Franco and Nestor Piva municipal hospitals are normally open 24 hours a day (including care for cases of flu syndromes), in addition to the Lourdes Nogueira Municipal Maternity Hospital (MMLN).
The dental emergency will operate normally, 24 hours a day, at the Dental Specialties Center, located at Rua Carlos Pereira de Melo, 450, Farolândia.
The vaccination service at the RioMar, Aracaju Parque and Jardins shopping malls will return on Thursday, as well as the Ver a Vida Program services.
In the Psychosocial Care Network (Reaps), service at the Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps) continues with an open door, with only nighttime reception for users already undergoing monitoring.
The Family Health Units and the SMS administrative headquarters will be closed.
The Medical Specialties Center (Cemar Siqueira Campos), part of the Specialized Care Network (Reae), will not operate, resuming services on Thursday, from 7am.
Household waste collection takes place without changing the schedule. Other public cleaning services will be carried out, however, with reduced teams.
The city’s recycling bins and the Cata Treco program do not work.
Social Defense and Citizenship
The Aracaju Municipal Guard (GMA) will continue to provide its essential services normally. Civil Defense will remain with teams on duty, to meet demands that may arise through the emergency number 199.
Procon Aracaju will not work, and reports and complaints can be registered online, through the AjuInteligente platform or via email [email protected].
The House of Science and Technology of the City of Aracaju Galileu Galilei (CCTECA), located in Parque da Sementeira, and the municipal teaching units are not open this Thursday.
