Itinerant action promoted by the Tatajuba Cultural Center and sponsored by the Vale Cultural Institute through the Rouanet Law, Movimenta Cultura arrives in Espírito Santo with the Training Cycle in Culture Management, which aims to promote professionalization, generation of jobs, income and new opportunities in the sector .
Until March 2024, the project will cover more than 25 municipalities in three regions of the country – Northeast, North and Southeast –, where it will hold 60 free workshops. In Espírito Santo, Vitória is the first city to receive activities from the project, which offers three training courses: “Territory and culture: recognizing our space”, “Elaboration of cultural projects – Module 1” and “Elaboration of cultural projects – Module 2” . They all take place at the ES+ Hub, in the Center.
In addition to Vitória, Movimenta Cultura will travel to five other municipalities: João Neiva, Ibiraçu, Baixo Guandu, Cariacica and Serra. Registration forms are available on the project’s social networks: Instagram, Facebook It is Linktr.ee.
Taught by social scientist, master in education sciences Francisca Prates, the workshop “Territory and culture: recognizing Our Space” aims to invite participants to reflect on the space where they live. Through practical exercises, students will carry out a cultural network mapping of community initiatives, to serve as a basis for composing local development strategies.
Subsequently, in two modules, two workshops on “Cultural project development” take place. The first will cover all stages, from conceiving an idea to writing the project, including structuring it for registration in cultural incentive laws and fundraising. In the second module, participants will be able to deepen their knowledge about writing projects, learn about registering proposals in the Support System for Culture Incentive Laws (Salic), how to develop the budget spreadsheet and how to gather and organize the necessary documentation , among other information. Both will be taught by professor, journalist, manager and cultural producer, Gustavo Zubreu.
