The workshops
Taught by social scientist, master in education sciences Francisca Prates, the workshop “Territory and culture: recognizing Our Space” aims to invite participants to reflect on the space where they live. Through practical exercises, students will carry out a cultural network mapping of community initiatives, to serve as a basis for composing local development strategies.
Subsequently, in two modules, two workshops on “Cultural project development” take place. The first will cover all stages, from conceiving an idea to writing the project, including structuring it for registration in cultural incentive laws and fundraising. In the second module, participants will be able to deepen their knowledge about writing projects, learn about registering proposals in the Support System for Culture Incentive Laws (Salic), how to develop the budget spreadsheet and how to gather and organize the necessary documentation , among other information. Both will be taught by professor, journalist, manager and cultural producer, Gustavo Zubreu.
