The Brazilian School Games (JEBS) sporting event ended its participation on November 8th, in Brasília, with a historic result for the state of Alagoas. The state’s performance was the best in its history in the competition, with 33 medals won in various categories.

Since success in judo, karate, chess, athletics and rhythmic gymnastics the previous week, which included two gold medals and qualification for the South American School Championships in Chile, Alagoas continued to shine with 17 additional medals in taekwondo, wrestling, basketball, handball, volleyball and futsal.
