The set of proposals to change the Preservation Plan for the Urban Complex of Brasília (PPCub), which will define what can or cannot be done in the Urban Complex of Brasília (CUB), will be debated again, in a public hearing this Saturday (11/11 ), in the auditorium of the Health Sciences Teaching and Research Foundation (Fepecs). The meeting will be at 9am.
The CUB covers the following areas and administrative regions: Cruzeiro, Candangolândia, Cruzeiro, Plano Piloto, Setor de Indústrias Gráficas (SIG), Sudoeste/Octogonal, in addition to the Brasília National Park and Lake Paranoá. The group includes sites listed at district and federal levels, as well as registered as Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The most recent version of the proposal includes three main guidelines: preservation and protection plan; land use and occupation; and local development plan. {{#values}}{{/values}}
Developed by the Secretariat of Urban Development and Housing (Seduh), the proposal is available for consultation on the official PPCub portal. The department highlights that citizens have until Saturday (11/11) to send suggestions, questions or complaints about the plan, either through the portal, in the “participate” tab; by email at [email protected]; or in person, at the public hearing.
Even though it takes place in person, the audience will be broadcast on YouTube, through the Conexão Seduh channel. After the event, the department will evaluate the suggestions presented by the population and make the necessary technical adjustments to the proposal.
The text will then be sent for analysis by the Territorial and Urban Planning Council of the Federal District (Conplan) and, with the deliberation of the collegiate, forwarded to the Legislative Chamber (CLDF).
To organize the area, PPCub divides the urban complex of the federal capital into 12 preservation territories (TPs), each with its own rules and subdivided into preservation units (UPs), in which use and occupation parameters are defined, as well as as instruments of urban control and conservation.
elaboration
After years of discussion and several meetings with the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (Iphan), the proposal was reviewed by the municipality and was prepared within the limits of the institute’s Ordinance No. 166/2016, used as a reference in the preparation of the project.
Furthermore, it was at the center of debates for more than a year, in 29 meetings with civil entities and the Government of the Federal District (GDF) that are part of the CUB Thematic Chamber, created in April 2022 by the Conplan plenary, at the request of counselors.
