The 2024 Annual Budget Law project (PLOA 2024) received a favorable preliminary opinion from the Economic Affairs Committee of the Amazonas Legislative Assembly (Aleam) and became part of the House’s regular agenda on Tuesday (7). The project will be on the agenda for five meetings and may receive amendments from parliamentarians.
The PL, which estimates revenue and sets State expenditure for the 2024 financial year, had deputy Adjuto Afonso (UB) as rapporteur on the Economic Affairs Committee (CAE).
The parliamentarian, who is also president of the CAE, gave a preliminary opinion in favor of the matter as it met the formal and material requirements required and in line with constitutional norms, and also transferred the report on the matter to deputy Alessandra Campêlo (Podemos).
“As of Tuesday, the project can now receive amendments and on the 22nd it will leave the regular agenda. The amendments that were presented will be sent to the rapporteur for a final opinion.
