More expensive agricultural transport: needs for improvements in the MT road network

The increase in costs for agricultural transport along federal highways, which make up the North Center of the country, is linked to overload and lack of investment. This is what a survey, commissioned by the Parliamentary Front for Public Administration, pointed out.

These points lead to another question: projects to improve the road network in Mato Grosso.

Agricultural transport in MT

According to a survey by the Brazilian Institute of Public Administration, the flow of the harvest through the Centro Norte logistics corridor is 37% more expensive than in the previous harvest. One of the reasons is the lack of investment and overload on highways.
