11-month-old baby dies after being hit by car in SC

A tragedy occurred this Monday (06) in Braço do Norte, in the south of Santa Catarina. An 11-month-old baby lost his life after being hit by a neighbor’s vehicle.

According to information from the Military Police, the accident happened when the driver of the car reversed and did not see the baby in the courtyard of the residence.

The baby was in the care of his 41-year-old grandmother at the time of the accident. The little one would have moved from the house to the neighbor’s land unnoticed by the woman. So far, no further details about the incident have been released.
