Ebano police dog discovered drugs hidden in the luggage compartment of a bus in Eldorado do Sul

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized, this Tuesday (7), a package of marijuana that was transported hidden in the luggage compartment of a bus and was found by the K9 Ebano sniffer dog. The case occurred on BR-290, in Eldorado do Sul, in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre.

According to the PRF, the agents were inspecting buses leaving Porto Alegre towards the interior of RS, when they decided to approach the vehicle containing the drugs.

The bus was destined for Santana do Livramento, a city that borders Rivera, in Uruguay. Three dogs were used during the search. Ebony indicated that there was something suspicious in a package. When opened, 51 grams of marijuana were found.. The package had been shipped as a parcel.

The drugs were sent to the Federal Police (PF), responsible for investigating who made the post and to whom the package would be delivered.
