Result of the qualification stage for notices of the Paulo Gustavo Law is announced in Santa Maria

It was released this Wednesday (8) the definitive result of the qualification stage of the Paulo Gustavo Law notices in Santa Maria. There were more than 130 cultural projects registered in the Audiovisual Production, Audiovisual Support and Dissemination categories and for other artistic and cultural areas, including creative economy. The published list only presents projects qualified for the merit analysis and selection stage.

The Superintendent of Culture, Cássio Coberlini, explains the process:

– We have two evaluation committees made up of professionals with renowned knowledge in the areas of cultural production, preparation and execution of cultural projects. One specific to the audiovisual area, to evaluate the projects in notices 2 and 3, made up of 12 professionals. And another specific one for notice 4, made up of 21 evaluators from other artistic and cultural areas that are not audiovisual. In total, there are 30 evaluators hired by the Department of Culture and 3 more volunteer evaluators appointed by the Municipal Council for Cultural Policy. We reinforce this so that registrants know that their projects will be evaluated by professionals specialized in the area.

The result of the final selection will be published on the City Hall website when the evaluation committees forward the data to the municipal department.

Results

In total, 138 cultural projects were registered, including:

• 38 projects in Notice No. 002/2023 – Support for Santa Maria Audiovisual Production
• 6 projects in Notice No. 003/2023 – Support for Cinema Theaters, Training and Audiovisual Broadcasting
• 94 projects in Notice No. 004/2023 – Arts and creative economy
