
A 27-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking in the city of Sento Sé, in the north of Bahia, on Tuesday (7). At the police station, the suspect confessed to having been involved in the death of his mother and uncle, aged 57 and 53, respectively.
The victims were identified as Graciete Oliveira Souza and Manoel Bismarcos Alves Souza, who were missing in the city. According to the Civil Police, the man indicated the location of the bodies, which were buried in two different properties. There are no details of who would own the residences.
The causes of the deaths and the time of the victims’ disappearance were not detailed, as was the motivation for the crime. The Civil Police believe that another person was involved in the murders.
The bodies were taken to the Technical Police Department (DPT) and will undergo examinations before being released for burial.
