An operation called “Invasion”, by the Federal and Civil Police, investigates crimes of sharing materials related to child sexual abuse and hacking devices. The suspect is suspected of sharing intimate videos of his ex-girlfriend on social media. He was the target of a search and seizure warrant this Wednesday (8) in Marituba, in the metropolitan region of Belém.
The investigation was initiated by the Civil Police of Pará and the inquiry was passed on to the PF. It was found that the suspect accessed the cell phone of his ex-girlfriend, who is a teenager, without authorization. He then created a fake account on a social network and started sharing intimate photos and videos that he obtained from her cell phone.
The victim reported the crimes and, after the investigation, the PF executed a search and seizure warrant, issued by the 3rd Federal Criminal Court of the Judiciary Section of Pará.
The person being investigated had already been arrested by the PC, in July, for the crime of storing child pornography and has been free since September.
According to the PF, he will be responsible for the crimes of sharing child pornography, provided for in the Child and Adolescent Statute, and hacking a computer device.
As provided for in the Penal Code, it is a crime to invade a computer device used by others, whether or not connected to the computer network, with the aim of obtaining, tampering with or destroying data or information without the express or tacit authorization of the device user or installing vulnerabilities to obtain illicit advantage.
