
The first day of application of Enem 2023 (National High School Exam), held this Sunday (5), recorded 14,004 (29.5%) abstentions in Mato Grosso do Sul, comparing the number of registered with those present. This rate is lower than that seen in 2022, when there were around 15 thousand (30%) missing.
According to the partial balance released by the MEC (Ministry of Education), 33,468 students participated in the exam in 41 municipalities across the State, which had 47,472 registered for the tests held on two different Sundays.
Regarding the profile of those registered in the State, women constitute the majority, representing 61.1% of the total, which is equivalent to 29,035 candidates, while men correspond to 38.9% of registrations, totaling 18,435 candidates.
45.3% of participants enrolled in MS have already completed high school, which is equivalent to 21,494 candidates, and 37.6% will graduate from high school in the year 2023, totaling 17,857 candidates.
Understand – Today, participants had to answer 90 questions on Human Sciences and their technologies and Languages and their technologies. In addition, candidates had to write an essay on the topic “Challenges for tackling the invisibility of care work carried out by women in Brazil”.
Next Sunday (12), students will take a test in Natural Sciences and its technologies, and Mathematics and its technologies.
