A young woman identified as Kassiane de Oliveira Marques, aged 19, was shot dead by her own husband, Cleiton Silva de Souza, aged 37, inside a spa this Saturday afternoon (5), in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, metropolitan region from Manaus.
According to information passed on by witnesses to the police, the couple was visiting the establishment when a jealous crisis caused them to fight. Cleiton began arguing with a man identified as Marcelo Dutra, the victim tried to separate the two.
According to reports, Marcelo armed himself with a knife and attacked Kassiane, when Cleiton grabbed a shotgun and fired as soon as the man attacked him.
Kassiane and Marcelo were hit. The woman was injured in the abdomen and was taken to the municipal hospital, but she ended up not resisting. The second victim was transferred to Manaus in serious condition.
After accidentally killing his wife, Cleiton fled the scene. Kassiane leaves two young children. The case is being investigated by the Amazonas Civil Police.
