Manaus/AM – Amazonas Energia reported that, this Sunday (5), a storm occurred with strong gusts of wind and atmospheric discharges in the cities of Manaus, Iranduba and Manacapuru, which caused, according to the company, “damage to vegetation and objects released onto the electrical grid”, causing the disconnection of feeder circuits in all areas of Manaus.

“Teams have been reinforced for emergency assistance and are working to restore the system in the shortest possible time and with a focus on everyone’s safety,” Amazonas Energia said in a statement.

The concessionaire also said that for reasons of safety for the population and field teams, while the rain and high humidity persist, distribution network recovery services cannot be carried out. “Demands can be registered on our service channels (call center/WhatsApp 0800 701 3001, app and website), which are available 24 hours a day”, concluded the statement.

Portal do Holanda was founded on November 14, 2005. First with a column, named after its founder, journalist Raimundo de Holanda. Then it moved to Blog do Holanda and finally Portal do Holanda. It was one of the first websites in the State of Amazonas. It is audited by IVC and ComScore.
