At the Arena Jockey Club, in Gávea, in the South Zone of Rio, at the opening show, Saturday, November 4th, King Roberto Carlos started the activities of the new space with a packed house.
Once again, the King proved that talent and charisma are priceless, and span generations.
JOCKEY ARENA
The Jockey Arena is a temporary stage and is set up in the middle of the Jockey Club Brasileiro racetracks, in Gávea, in the South Zone of the city. The space is an air-conditioned mega tent with 3,400 square meters and capacity for up to 5,500 people (depending on the format of the presentation). Over the course of two months, stars such as Marisa Monte, Caetano Veloso, Ney Matogrosso, Titãs and Maria will appear there. Bethânia, in a schedule full of national music stars.
Performances by Tom Cavalcante, to make you laugh, and Mundo Bita, for the kids, are also planned. The program ends on December 31st, with French DJ David Guetta rocking “Réveillon Splendido”.
In addition to the main stage, there is a smaller space, where samba circles take place with Pretinho da Serrinha, and the gastronomic space.
