Mineiro was 55 years old and drowned in Praia do Forte

A tourist from Minas Gerais, who was spending a few days in Cabo Frio, in the Lagos Region, died after drowning in the waters of Praia do Forte, in the center of the municipality, last Friday (03). Identified as Juvenal Aparecido Ferreira Aguiar, the man was 55 years old.
The accident happened in the morning, according to information from the Fire Department. According to reports, he was taken to the Central Emergency Hospital (HCE), in the São Cristóvão neighborhood, also in Cabo Frio. Despite this, he ended up not resisting and died before reaching the unit.

The body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in the Center of Cabo Frio and released this Saturday morning (04). From there, he was taken to the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, where the victim lived. Despite this, he was born in Diamantina, in the interior of the state.
On October 13th, another tourist from Minas Gerais died after drowning on the same beach. Retired police officer Wederson Fernandes, 50, was swimming with his son when he was dragged by a current of water and ended up not resisting.
