More than 29 thousand public school students signed up for the Enem test in Amazonas

Manau/AM – More than 29,300 students from the public education network signed up for this edition of Enem, in Amazonas. In total, according to Inep data, across the state, more than 92 thousand registrations were made. The gates of the educational units that hosted the exam closed at 1 pm (Brasília time).

Candidates use a boat to reach Enem test sites in Amazonas

According to the State Department of Education and School Sports (Seduc), 74 public schools were transferred to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP), linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), to carry out the exam. In the interior of the State, the tests were also administered in 97 schools in the state network.

In the 3rd year of high school, William Pereira Vieira highlighted the tranquility that the candidate needs to have to take the test and said he had good expectations. In 2022, when he was still in 2nd grade, William passed the entrance exam.

“We had a good direction for the content that will be covered in the tests and the possible topics of the essay. The teachers helped us a lot on this Enem preparation journey. I have good expectations, I believe that we will achieve what each of us wants for our professional future”, said the student, who took the test at the Centro Educacional de Tempo Integral (Ceti) Cinthia Regia Gomes Do Livramento, in Industrial District.

Across Brazil, almost 4 million candidates signed up for Enem 2023. In Amazonas, there are 200 test locations and 2,921 application rooms, in 57 municipalities.
