CTTU sets up special traffic scheme for Caminhada dos Terreiros de Pernambuco

The Recife Urban Transport and Traffic Authority (CTTU) has set up a special traffic scheme for the Caminhada dos Terreiros de Pernambuco, which takes place this Wednesday (1). Agents and advisors will be on site making itinerant blockades, that is, they are made and undone according to the public’s passage.

The gathering will be at Praça do Marco Zero from 2pm and the procession is scheduled to leave at 4pm. The public will follow the avenues Marquês de Olinda, Martins de Barros, Praça da República, Rua do Sol, Avenida Guararapes and Avenida Dantas Barreto. The expected end date is at 8pm, in front of Pátio de São Pedro.

CTTU recommends that citizens pay attention to road signs and the guidance of traffic officers on site. It is also important to observe the pedestrian route in the area, considering that they are the most fragile in traffic and, therefore, have priority.
