Belo Horizonte dawned with cloudy skies this Friday (23/9) and should remain that way throughout the day. According to meteorologist Ruibran dos Reis, from ClimaTempo, Minas Gerais is experiencing an increase in cloud cover, which causes heavy rains, with gusts of wind and lightning, today and over the weekend.

North, Northwest and East regions of the state may experience wind gusts of rain. BH and metropolitan region may have heavy rain in the afternoon. Cloudiness also helps to improve air humidity, which should reach 45%.

The minimum temperature in the capital was 17°C and the maximum could reach 28°C in the afternoon, with heavy rain. For the rest of the state, municipalities near Serra do Mantiqueira had a minimum temperature of 11°C, while Vale do Jequitinhonha could reach 33°C this afternoon.

Weekend

In addition, a polar air mass causes temperatures to drop over the weekend, especially at night. On Saturday and Sunday (24/9 and 25/9) temperatures will be between 16°C and 25°C, at night, with the incidence of winds and rain, the temperature can drop even further.

During most of the day, the sky will be sunny between clouds, and the afternoon can evolve to cloudy.
