Organized by the singer Prethaís, the circulation project Black black is now queen starts this Saturday (24/9) at Jovem de Expressão, in Ceilândia, and admission is free. The event has a series of shows by Prethaís and will have, only this Saturday, the special participation of Lídia Dallet, Mc Dona Rayla, Dj Umiranda and Vj New Nay.

The shows promise a celebration of black Brazilian artists and their influential genres like hip hop, blues, samba, funk. In addition, the presentations in the circulation project are directed by singer and music producer Allyn Akin, in addition to the participation of Tarcísio Reis, Preto Cosmo and Érica Fernanda.

The project takes the name of the song, black black, from the last single released by the singer and recently on her youtube channel the clip was released. In a note Prethaís states: “I think it is important to say that my lyrics narrate the reality of black women, so I speak of Poesia Preta, since we are the personification of these poems. Ancestry, Candomblé, the genocide of black people are also very present”.

The shows will take place on different dates throughout the administrative regions of the DF and all are open to the public and free of charge. The first takes place in Ceilândia, on Saturday (24/9). The next one will be in Samambaia, on October 7th, at the cultural complex, and will feature Haynna Jaciara. The last one will be held on November 5, at Praça da Martinha do Coco, located in Paranoá with Martinha do Coco itself.
