Louveira City Hall, through the Environmental Management Secretariat, has several dogs available for adoption at Animal Welfare, located at Rua Aparecido Ribeiro Damasceno, n° 45, Bairro Leitão.

Adopting adult animals can bring many benefits, both for those who adopt and for those who are adopted. An adult pet adopted from Welfare Animal de Louveira has a lower initial cost, as the animals are already neutered, microchipped, dewormed and have their vaccinations up to date. At Animal Welfare, in addition to adoption, veterinary care, microchipping and vaccinations are also provided on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am upon delivery of limited tickets. Castration is carried out through registration via the waiting list. All services are completely free, to improve the health and quality of life of pets in the socially vulnerable population.
